Museum of Namibian Fashion - Extended Working Hours (Thursdays)

The Museum of Namibian Fashion is pleased to announce that starting Thursday, 03 November 2022, we will be extending our operating hours for Thursdays.

The Museum of Namibian Fashion showcases past, present and future fashion artefacts and knowledge about different aspects of fashion from Namibia. The Museum of Namibian Fashion is a source of knowledge, ideas, stories and memories reflected through fashion. It was developed and is managed as a community resource centre to inspire, educate and inform the community and visitors and to contribute to the conservation of the history and heritage of the distinct fashion.

Every Thursday, the museum will be open from 08:00 until 21:00. The extended hours give you more time to visit the museum to learn and contribute to our exhibitions and our valuable cultural heritage. By extending our hours on Thursdays, we hope that more people can get involved in learning about Namibia's fashion history and support local designers.
