The Museums Association of Namibia (MAN) is an umbrella organisation that represents all Namibian museums.
As a representative body it supports museums in various ways such as in the field of training, funding and the networking of professionals.

Remembering Cassinga Day 04 May 1978 Cassinga Day is a national Namibian public holiday, remembering the Cassinga Massacre. Observed on the 4th of May annually, the date pays homage to the lives lost in 1978, as a result of the South African Defence Force’s attack on a SWAPO refugee camp at Cassinga, southern Angola.
