Namibia Film Preservation Project
The Namibia Film Preservation Project is a response to the urgent need to protect audiovisual materials that are increasingly at risk of deterioration due to outdated formats, inadequate storage conditions, and fragmentation across institutional and private collections.
The initiative has worked to locate and document these materials while building local capacity in cataloguing and preservation practices by bringing together expertise in archiving, film, and heritage management.
