Taking opportunities!

Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) hosts a collection of around 542 historical cultural belongings from Namibia. If you are a Namibian heritage professional and happen to be on a stopover in Frankfurt, the museum can offer you 3–4 days of free accommodation to spend time engaging with the Frankfurt collection and the Weltkulturen Museum team. For a detailed overview of the collection, see the following working paper by Gesa Grimme and Larissa Förster (the new director of the Weltkulturen Museum), pp. 78 ff.:

The invitation is open until mid-November. The museum cannot cover travel expenses, though. If you are interested, please send a short CV and a one-page motivation letter, including your preferred dates (within the time span from now to mid-November), to:
larissa.foerster@stadt-frankfurt.de (Director of the Weltkulturen Museum, Frankfurt) and info@museums.com.na (Museums Association of Namibia)
