His Excellency Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma - In Memoriam
Together with the entire Namibian nation and beyond, it is with a heavy heart that the Museums Association of Namibia (MAN), mourns the passing of the Founding President of the Republic of Namibia and Founding Father of the Nation, His Excellency Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma.
It goes without saying that Namibia has lost one of its greatest heroes whose impact on Namibia in his 95 years of life is immeasurable.
We are eternally grateful to him for never wavering in his dedication to the achievement of Namibia’s independence and the prosperity of Namibia thereafter, and for all he has sacrificed in this pursuit.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
