Announcement: Farewell Ndapewoshali
Dear MAN Members
Dear Project Partners
Dear Stakeholders
Ms Ndapewoshali Ndahafa Ilunga, Director of the Museums Association of Namibia (MAN), will be leaving to pursue exciting new career opportunities. Her final day of full service will be Tuesday, the 31st of December, 2024.
Ndapewoshali, having joined MAN in April 2014 as the Administrative Officer, has served the organisation, and the sector, in various capacities including Human Resource and Administrative Officer, Office Manager, Operations Manager, and ultimately, the Director.
For both the Executive Committee and MAN Members, Ndapewoshali’s passion and dedication to the development and capacity-building of professionals in the sector, have been inspirational. As a finance, project management, and Namibian labour law enthusiast, she also served as a historian, researcher, in-house graphic designer, and curator for the industry. With a well-earned reputation for always being willing to go the extra mile, she leaves us with numerous exhibitions, manuals, templates and systems, which make all of our work both easier and better. Ndapewoshali leaves behind a legacy of excellence and growth.
Being committed to the organisation’s success and long-term sustainability, she will continue contributing on a remote, part-time basis for six months to support a smooth transition after her departure.
Thank you, Ndapewoshali, for dedicating almost 11 years of your life to Making Namibian Museums Matter!
